When it comes to scoring candidates, having a benchmark can be helpful for comparison. However, I understand that it's not always easy to determine an exact measurement for scoring.
That being said, here's a general scale we can use on a scale of 10:
Points | Scale | Description |
---|---|---|
8+ | STRONG YES | The candidate is exceptionally strong. It's important to note that finding someone with a perfect 10/10 is extremely rare. |
7 - 8 | YES | The candidate is considerably stronger than other candidates with similar experience. |
6 - 7 | UNSURE | leaning towards a YES. In these cases, we can consider other team member feedback to make a final decision. |
5-6 | NO | unless other team members strongly advocate for the candidate |
< 5 | ABSOLUTE NO |
