When it comes to scoring candidates, having a benchmark can be helpful for comparison. However, I understand that it's not always easy to determine an exact measurement for scoring.

That being said, here's a general scale we can use on a scale of 10:

Points Scale Description
8+ STRONG YES The candidate is exceptionally strong. It's important to note that finding someone with a perfect 10/10 is extremely rare.
7 - 8 YES The candidate is considerably stronger than other candidates with similar experience.
6 - 7 UNSURE leaning towards a YES. In these cases, we can consider other team member feedback to make a final decision.
5-6 NO unless other team members strongly advocate for the candidate
< 5 ABSOLUTE NO
